DISGORGING AND DOSING
This is the most important phase in the process, hence the name of disgorging machine. The ice plug containing the deposit is removed without damaging the wine. It creates a void that must be filled at the top of the bottle. This is where the dosing unit comes into play, in a process often linked to the disgorging unit.
Dosing means adding a “dosing liquor” to the sparkling wine to top up the bottle. A cane sugar solution will set the nature of the wine depending on its content.

The MDD is a rotary bottle disgorging – dosing machine. It is automatic.

Rotary Disgorger DR8
The DR 8 is a rotary bottle disgorger with 8 disgorging stations on a turret.
The machine has a standard basic equipment for processing Champagne bottles (with ring Crown 29 classic).
